My University View is built on official, primarily governmental data. These are the sources powering the App. Figures are historical by nature — always verify details with each institution (see our Disclaimer).
Our primary source: the list of accredited colleges and their tuition, acceptance rates, enrollment, test scores, campus settings, and fields of study.
The federal survey system underlying College Scorecard's institution-level data.
NCAA athletics data
Softball programs, conferences, coaches, and records compiled from NCAA public statistics (via the sportsdataverse open-data project); division listings cross-referenced with
NCSA College Recruiting's published D-I/D-II/D-III/NAIA college lists.
Base maps, geocoding (Nominatim), and driving routes (OSRM) for the map and road-trip features.
Context for our tuition guidance: average institutional discount rates at private colleges.
