Welcome to My University View ("the App"), operated by Glitch Labs ("we," "us"). By using the App at myuniview.com or any related application, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
My University View helps students and families explore US colleges, compare schools, plan campus visits, and organize outreach to colleges. It combines public government data with tools you use to record your own research.
The App is intended for students exploring college and their families. You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you're under 18, you should use the App with a parent or guardian's involvement — that's how it's designed to be used. If you create an account, you're responsible for activity under it and for keeping your sign-in secure.
College data in the App (tuition, acceptance rates, enrollment, athletics, academics) comes from historical government datasets and other public sources. It is provided for research convenience only, may be outdated or contain errors, and published tuition "sticker prices" rarely reflect what families actually pay. Always verify details directly with each college before making decisions. The App is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any college, the NCAA, NAIA, NCSA, or any review platform it links to. We do not provide admissions, athletic-recruiting, financial, or legal advice.
Notes, ratings, photos, documents, and contact details you save belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them solely to operate the App (see our Privacy Policy). Don't upload content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, or that you don't have permission to store. Emails you compose through the App are sent from your own email account, and you are responsible for what you send.
Don't misuse the App: no scraping or bulk-downloading our database, no attempting to access other users' data, no reverse-engineering paid features, no using the App to spam colleges or coaches, and no interfering with the service's operation.
The App links out to colleges, review platforms, maps apps, search engines, and recruiting services, and relies on services like Supabase (accounts), Google/Microsoft/Apple (sign-in), OpenStreetMap (geocoding and routing), and Stripe (payments). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for their content or conduct.
The App's design, code, branding, and the curated organization of its database belong to Glitch Labs. The underlying government data is public. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial college research; you may not resell or redistribute the App or its database.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of data. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, that data is error-free, or any particular admissions or recruiting outcome.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Glitch Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on data in the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you've paid nothing). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You can stop using the App or delete your account at any time (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections 3, 4, and 8–10 survive termination.
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and note the change in the App. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
